In its 5th year, the Bishop Stephen Gill Spottswood “Acolyte Virtual Conference” continues to be an online institute of education, engagement, and empowerment for your young throughout Zion Methodism. It boasts of youth leadership conducting teaching and training workshops for other youth, young adults, and adults. This year, after prayerful consideration, the officers chose the theme, “Seasons of Change - All Things New,” with the scripture Ephesians 4:20-24.

As the Board of Acolytes trains and disciple the officers, the officers train and equip others. This model affords our youth the opportunity to share their faith, personal experience, and kingdom principles in an authentic and genuine way.  The Bishop Stephen Gill Spottswood Acolytes of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is a ministry that trains youth for leadership and service.

Over the past four years, the Acolyte Virtual Conference has had over 500 registered attendees and raised over $25,000 to support scholarships and cover Acolyte festival expenses. The Board of Acolytes wishes to thank you for registering and investing in our Zion leaders.
